You can look at most parts of the site without registering but if you want to register for the newsletter then you will be asked to tell Mira Ink your name, email and age (including whether you are 12 or over). If you are younger than 12 then you must have your parent or guardian's permission to join the Mira Ink website. You must be truthful. If you are younger than 12 and do not have your parent or guardian's permission you cannot be made a member of the Mira Ink website. If you state that you do have parental or guardian permission, I may check this. If you don’t have their permission then your membership to the Mira Ink website will end immediately.

If you are given or choose a username and password for the Mira Ink website, you must keep these confidential – that way, there is less chance of somebody pretending to be you when they use the site.

Mira Ink will sometimes make downloads available on the site (such as extracts or desktop wallpapers). Always speak to your parent or guardian before downloading these things and make sure they are happy for you to download them to your computer.

If you send something to Mira Ink via the site or by email - for example an answer to a competition question - it may be placed on the Mira Ink website. By writing to or sending things to Mira Ink, you and/or your parent or guardian are agreeing that what you've sent (or part of it) can be used in any way and for as long as I want to (for example I might put it up on this site, or on another related website or print it in a Mira Ink book). You can still do whatever you want with any items you send - but you agree that Mira Ink can use it too. If you don't want Mira Ink to do this then please don't send things.

If you do contribute to the site, Mira Ink may post your contribution online so everyone visiting the site will be able to see it. Mira Ink may attribute your contribution to your name – your first name will only be used to ensure that the site is as safe as possible - but this is at the discretion of Mira Ink and there is no guarantee that this will be done and you accept that we do not need to. Furthermore, you agree to waive all moral rights over any contributions you make or send to the site meaning, for example, that you won’t mind if Mira Ink make changes to your contributions even if you don’t like the changes. If you contribute to the site you give Mira Ink the right to use your contribution free of charge on the site, on other relevant websites Mira Ink or the publishers, Mills and Boon, may publish and/or in other publications (be they online or in print) and to amend or adapt your contribution if this is necessary. For example, Mira Ink may post only part of your comment online. If you do not wish to grant these rights to Mira Ink, please do not submit contributions to this site. You should only submit your own original work to this site so please do not contribute any material that someone else wrote or created or which belongs to someone else.
Mira Ink reserve the right to withhold from publication any contributions which in our opinion do not comply with these conditions and to remove any contributions from the site for any reason. Mira Ink cannot promise that all comments received will feature on the site. 
Mira Ink cannot guarantee that the site (or any part of it) will always be available when you go online or that access to the site will be uninterrupted or free from errors - the site changes regularly. Whilst Mira Ink will try to make sure that the site and the material on it are accurate and up to date, this is not always possible. The site and the information, names, images, pictures, logos and icons relating to Mira Ink, Mira Ink books (or to any other person’s products and/or services), are provided for information purposes only and on an "AS IS" basis. You will only be able to receive the Mira Ink newsletter if you have registered to do so. If you are under 12 years of age you will need to get your parent or guardian’s consent to register for the Mira Ink  newsletter. When you register for the newsletter you will be asked to state whether you are 12 or over, or if you are younger than 12, that you have your parent or guardian's consent. Please be truthful as if you are under 12 and do not have your parent or guardian's consent you are not allowed to be a member of the Mira Ink newsletter club and your membership will be stopped straight away.

You agree to provide your true and accurate information when joining the Mira Ink newsletter club or when contacting Mira Ink or when using a registration form. Mira Ink need to make sure all details are up to date for you and so you agree to maintain and promptly update any registration information whenever it changes (ie if for example you change your email address). You can update your details by contacting Mira Ink via info@miraink.co.uk.
Mira Ink hold and use information about you and your visits to the site in accordance with the website’s Privacy Policy . By using the site you agree to let Mira Ink use your information in this way.

For some competitions and to receive certain prizes Mira Ink may need to contact your parent or guardian and get their permission.

You agree that you will have no claim against Mira Ink in respect of any decision made to remove access to this site (or any part of it). Mira Ink will only be liable to you for any loss or damage which is a reasonably foreseeable result of your use of, or inability to use, the site. These conditions are not intended to give rights to anyone except you and Mira Ink. 
In the event of any dispute or claim between me concerning these conditions or arising out of your use of the site, the laws of England will apply. If you wish to take court proceedings against Mira Ink, you must do so within the United Kingdom.
